Soldout
$998.00

Since 1670, the Autréau’s family has perpetuated fine Champagne from the heights of Champillon. They own Grand Cru vineyards of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir in Aÿ and Chouilly. These vast and beautiful vineyards are divided, with over 30 hectares dedicated to the best Crus of the Côte des blancs (White Hillside) and the Vallée de la Marne (Marne Valley.)

The Chardonnay grapes hail from Chouilly, which has a Grand Cru soil from the Côte des Blancs, the Pinot Noir comes from the Vallée de la Marne and Pinot Meunier, is also grown in the Vallée de la Marne.

These exceptional terrors produce some of the finest grape varieties that makes Autreau champagne so special.

Tasting Notes:

A spectacular “Grand Cru “ from Chouilly and Aÿ is only produced in exceptional years.

Topaz-yellow and bright in colour. This vintage has flowery taste of carnation and apples with fine notes of fern and caramel. It is in the taste that its maturity is appreciated.

Grape:

Chardonnay blend

Serving suggestion:

Fill an ice bucket half with ice and half with water, then chill your champagne for twenty five minutes, ideally around 10-12°. Don't forget chill the glasses too.

Pairings:
Like all champagne's, it is perfect with seafood, but the refinement and robustness of flavour in this vintage makes it especially so. But by far the best pairing has to be with the finest of caviars.
